Salmon Bay Residence – Seattle, WA
A new waterfront house for a family of five overlooking Salmon Bay and the entrance into the Chittenden Locks. The house has an east facing view, receiving strong morning light and spectacular views of sea life, boating traffic, and the comings and goings of trains across the Ballard Train Bridge. The house is designed around a central stair core that captures light at the top-most clerestory windows reflecting the intense colors of the core into the deepest interior of the house.
